Jonah Tolchin has released a previously unheard track called “Cry No More,” featuring Jay Bellerose on drums and Sebastian Steinberg on bass.
Tolchin said: “I wrote this song a long time ago when I was working on a project inspired by the Hermann Hesse story “Siddhartha”. Each ‘chapter’ had a song I wrote for it… This was from close to the beginning of the story when he lives in the woods for a time. I recommend reading the book if you haven’t. One of my all time favorites. Special thanks to my friend Sheldon Gomberg for co-producing/engineering.”
“Cry No More” was previously only available on Bandcamp, when it was released as part of The Carriage House Singles on May 1, 2020. The digital EP includes six songs not featured from any albums. Produced by Grammy award-winning producer producer Sheldon Gomberg’s, the title for the EP comes from Gomberg’s name for his studio in Los Angeles, The Carriage House.
