In honor of Tom Petty’s birthday this month, Jonah Tolchin has shared a reimagining of the under-appreciated Petty tune “Grew Up Fast.” Streaming everywhere now.

“I got asked by my friend Dylan Sevey to contribute a song to a Tom Petty tribute concert a couple years ago. All the songs I knew were taken and he gave me a list of deep cuts. I heard “Grew Up Fast” and immediately recognized that it was a song that I wanted to cover. It’s got a raw intensity and lyrics that I connected to emotionally.”
