Lit by a golden haze, the folk-singer songwriter rings in the tune with a reflective strum. Behind her is the Age of Apathy band: Isa Burke on guitar, Ethan Jodziewicz on bass, and Robin MacMillan on drums. The musicianship of this ensemble rivals none, and leaves no room for debate of O’Donovan’s deserved nominations.
