After two well-regarded releases— debut album Before Lately in 2010 and follow-up EP We Don’t Need in 2012— Louisville-based singer-songwriter Cheyenne Mize is set to release her second full-length album on June 25 courtesy of Yep Roc Records.
Entitled Among The Grey, the album will be co-produced by Mize along with Kevin Ratterman, who acted as sound engineer for My Morning Jacket’s most recent album, Circuital.
Mize has won praise for her beautiful, smoky vocals and lush, chamber pop production and previously gained exposure for her collaboration with Bonnie Prince Billy on 2010’s release “Among the Gold.” She has also performed with the likes of Ben Sollee and Daniel Martin Moore.
