Cheyenne Mize’s new album Among the Grey is now officially available for pre-order at the Yep Roc Store. Among The Grey fulfills the promise that has been evident in the two previous releases from Louisville, KY native Cheyenne Mize.  Whereas Before Lately (2010) was a slow-burning, introspective, meditative affair, and We Don’t Need (2012) offered an expansion of her sonic palette that left listeners wanting more, Among The Grey stands strong as a cohesive artistic statement. Already lauded by Paste for its “beautiful, smoky vocals and lush, chamber pop production,” the record showcases Mize’s considerable skills as a songwriter and arranger.
