Before the band embarks on its first UK/European tour in two years, the Born Ruffians premiered the previously unreleased track “With An Ax.” The song is one of the band’s favorites from its recent recording process, but the band felt it stood out better on it’s own so it was left off Birthmarks. From band member Luke Lalonde: “This is a song about imagining another man stealing your woman away without any warning. A random act of violence on the street. The feeling of shock and adrenaline running through your body.” Stream it now in the player below.
The Born Ruffians will play a string of festival dates in North America including June 16’s Northside Festival in Brooklyn and July 14’s West Fest in Chicago, before heading out on an European tour in September and October in support of its new release Birthmarks:
