Yep Roc Records is pleased to announce that we have signed Aoife O’Donovan to the label. The folksy singer-songwriter has spent the last 10 years playing in the celebrated progressive string band, Crooked Still, and has been collaborating with numerous other artists including Ollabelle, Sometymes Why, Jerry Douglas, Jim Lauderdale, Sara Watkins, Yo-Yo Ma, Chris Thile, and Kathy Mattea to name a few.

A naturally talented songwriter, Aoife’s writing came to the attention of Alison Krauss who recorded her song “Lay My Burden Down” in 2011. O’Donovan has also had songs placed on the HBO hit True Blood and ABC’s Private Practice.
