Dave Alvin and Phil Alvin have been nominated in the Traditional Blues Male Artist category at the 2016 Blues Music Awards.

This is the second year in a row the Alvins have been nominated for a Blues Music Award.  In 2015, they were nominated in the Traditional Blues Album category.
