Indie88 premiered the new music video for Born Ruffian’s second single, “6-5000” from their latest album Birthmarks. Enjoy watching the band rock out in corn fields while a decrepit old barn crumbles behind them.
The “6-5000” video’s director, Mike Juneau, has beautiful things to say about the new video:
“The video was shot by me and Kyle McCreight with help from Ruffians Luke and Mitch in in a few small towns just outside of Toronto. The significance of the barns collapsing is to demonstrate the cycle of creation. Just like a spider who builds it’s web and has it destroyed we must learn to let go and build again. Whether it’s a 100 year old barn or a week old spider web, nothing lasts forever.”
