The long-awaited new album from Jackie Greene, Back To Birth, is out today.

Yesterday, Billboard premiered a new track from the album, “The King Is Dead.”

 Greene tells Billboard he started Back To Birth — which includes the track “The King is Dead,” “a bit of a socio-political statement, masquerading as a rock song” — during 2012 in his home studio in California.
