Nick Lowe & Lost Straitjackets have premiered a track from the upcoming Quality Holiday Revue Live LP via Nerdist.
After releasing Quality Street: A Seasonal Selection for All the Family in 2013, the New York Timessaid that Lowe is “surely up there with Bob Dylan and Scott Weiland as one of the most surprising artists to record a Christmas album.” Alas, he did it anyway, and who can blame him? Something about the inherent joy of the holiday season makes Christmas music so much fun, so we imagine that Lowe really enjoyed himself touring behind lighthearted jingle bell rock in 2014, as is evidenced by “The North Pole Express.”
