The Wall Street Journal’s Speakeasy premiered The Fleshtones’ aptly named Ramones tribute song, “Remember the Ramones” from their new album Wheel of Talent due Feb. 11. “Remember the Ramones” honors the punk sensibility and style the Ramones were well known for.
“We used to work our way up to the front at CBGBs and sit on the floor squeezed up against the monitors to watch the Ramones,” Fleshtones singer Peter Zaremba told Speakeasy. “They were unlike anything we’d ever seen or heard before.”
